All but one of the realms is completely P2W, and the PvP is cross-realm so you'll be at a huge disadvantage anyways. Classic WotLK should be out within the next year or so, would be better to wait for that instead. Chromie is good, but it's vanilla WoW in the WotLK client.

First, an overview of the WoW (US) network infrastructure. All US servers are hosted in 3 data centers, located in Chicago, Los Angeles and Sydney. OCE realms are hosted in Sydney and all Latin American / Brazilian realms in Chicago. This is obviously not perfect but is a much closer estimate than Ironforge.Pro or CensusPlusWOTLK. Dalaran wow has outdated inferior scripts and low pop, while Cromiecraft is still in its lvling phase (they release 10 by 10 lvls every few months or so) with sub 1k pop at best and by now is considered a meme in the community.
